England Rugby: 2 x runners up in World cup AND Winners x 1. I'm not saying we were the better team in any of those competitions, no way, BUT they're doing something right! Now football? As Lawrence Dallaglio says, the championship is the "Andrex" league, over-rated,overpriced and soft! However,I have the utmost respect for those who "get stuck in" in the lower divisions and don't moan and whinge about the weather, food, grass length, shirt colours, referees, travel, hotels etc etc, yawn, yawn!

Well as far as the football is concerned, at least we have something to brag about - have Wales ever qualified for a world cup? and as for rugby union, there have only been 6 world cup finals and England have played in exactly half of them so I suspect that it won't be 42 years before it happens again. Tell me - how many finals has Wales managed to reach in its national sport? LOL - ah, it's fun beating up no brains welsh people. |
