for all that are knocking her, the whole point was that she was INSPIRED by Harajuku not that she was making her Girls carbon copy. the song clearly states: "A Ping-Pong match between eastern and western//Did you see your inspiration in my latest collection?" her Girls are dressed to sell LAMB. if you dont like her, it's one thing -dont watch her vids no one's forcing you to- but to come on and leave comments about how she "messed it up" only makes YOU look stupid.

its not what everyone thinks it is. at all. i mean they do have some of those things like in harajuku but everywhere else its like strictly business :P

gwen got the fashions wrong in these pictures.
theres a lot of different styles in harajuku. [my favorite are the decora girls]
but hey, thanks to gwen we all learned about these things. not alot of ppl knew about harajuku until gwen talked about it in most of her songs ^__^

Actually, they're not dressed in Lolita at all. The skirts are too short, and the style is all wrong. It's more oshare/decora, if anything, or "lolita-inspired". Most Lolita girls that I know hate her for just this--misrepresenting Lolita fashion for the rest of America. I just find her annoying, personally. I don't like how she doesn't understand the fashion much at all... |
